Meet Zoe - December 2012
Meet Zoe. She is 10 years old (we've recently been told when we talked to her first family) and was found as a pup. Well, poor Zoe has been passed around to several families in her little life (we are her 4th family). She was with her last family for 3 years, but they had to return to their home country for a while, so we agreed to look after her while they are gone. She was very unhappy her first day with us. When we got her to our home, she just went back into her carry-box and went to sleep. She stayed there all afternoon until we took her out for a walk. It didn't take her long to get used to our routine and for us to get used to hers -- going out for walks a couple times a day and sleeping. December 17, 2012 is the day Zoe came to live with us.

Zoe's first Christmas at our house - December 2012
Zoe's family left us her stocking, so on Christmas morning we helped her open her stocking. I think she enjoyed her little treat!

Zoe doesn't do very much with us, but she doesn't mind being here. She isn't very social in that she stays to herself most of the day. Michael likes to have her with him when he takes a nap and when we are together watching a movie, we want Zoe to sit with us, but she just doesn't like to watch movies I guess. She does like the sunny spot in our bedroom and loves going outside. I know she misses the freedom she used to have in her last home that had a fenced first floor patio.

A note from Zoe: This is my favorite spot to spend the day (when I'm not outside on my walks). I also sleep in their bedroom at night on my bed. They don't let me on their bed. But I think Mrs. knows I get up there when they leave me alone during the day!
February 2013
I took Zoe up the street on a longer walk the other day to see the Cherry Trees in bloom. She isn't easy to walk, but I still managed to get a couple photos of her and the beautiful trees in bloom
